On the 10^th of July 2009 the Houses of Parliament were rocked by a home made explosive device that destroyed much of the 2nd chamber and opened up a hole leading down into an underground chamber of unknown secrets.
The reason you do not remember this happening is that It was never reported and erased from everyone’s memory.
